Begin with the ingredients

Cream together the butter and sugars. Add the eggs and vanilla. Finally, add in the dry ingredients and chocolate chips, mixing just until combined.

Scoop onto a parchment lined baking sheet, and chill in the freezer for at least 1 hour. 

When ready to bake, place on a parchment-lined baking sheet, about 2 inches apart. And bake in a 375°F oven for about 12 minutes.
