Super Easy Dutch Oven Pot Roast with Butternut Squash

Season the Chuck roast with salt and pepper


Sear the beef chuck roast on each side for 3-5 minutes, or until browned.


Once the beef is seared, deglaze the pan with red wine. Add beef broth to the Dutch oven.


Add potatoes, onions, and garlic. Cover, and place in a 375 degree oven.

Once the beef has cooked for about 3 hours, uncover and add the butternut squash. Return to the oven for about 20 minutes
